Quinton Hayter is the Group Information Security Officer at Dee Set Complete Retail Solutions, bringing nearly 40 years of expertise in Information Technology. Quinton began his career as a computer programmer at a small dealership in Knutsford, Cheshire, and has since gained extensive experience across a range of IT roles, including a notable stint at a managed service provider during the Y2K era.

Eighteen years ago, he joined Dee Set Logistics (now Dee Set Complete Retail Solutions) and has been instrumental in supporting the company’s growth from a £20 million turnover to over £140 million. Throughout his tenure, Quinton has held various positions, evolving from service desk technician to IT Manager.

Five years ago, he was entrusted with establishing and leading the Information Security department, where he now oversees Information Security, Infrastructure, Data Protection, and Data Governance across the Dee Set Group of Companies. Known affectionately as "Q," Quinton combines his deep technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to safeguarding organizational assets, embodying a dedication to excellence in cybersecurity.
